Stepstone Music is a result of 12 years recording many excellent artists and we are committed to getting great music into the heart of music lovers by promoting the sale of CD’s or DVD’s through the recording and rehearsal facility, venues, shops and the media.

If you have a finished music CD or DVD (even a single, well recorded track is enough) we would be happy to promote it for you through this website as well as all of the above avenues. This could in time lead to a wider range of listeners and a better understanding of your music.

Having played the drums for 35 years all over the UK I know that there is always something new to learn, whether you are a beginner or an established player just looking for a few tips. Tuition takes place at the studio in a purpose built environment where drum kits and sticks will be provided.

Drums alone can become a bit boring and uninspiring so as the lessons progress I will introduce other instruments such as bass guitar and electric guitars to focus on musical integration, a drummer’s role within a rhythm section and the importance of listening to other musicians.

Lessons last 1 hour, which includes 45 mins one to one tuition with 15 mins practice time for £30. I will only book in batches of ten fortnightly lessons.
